In 1909 a college and minor seminary for the salvatorian order was opened with nine students, it closed in the 1960s,
reopened in the 1970s as JFK Prep Academy and then closed once again in the 1980s. This building is dated 1938
and more than likely was built when the school had more than nine students.
This is the building that has all the stories behind it. The most recent story I heard about the buildings, was that the
gangs from Chicago used to hang out here, that could explain why the school is the most beaten up building here.
As the story goes, a guy came to get his daughter and was almost beaten to death, the cops then moved in and kicked
the gangs out.
